for CS 1.6:
99fps-vertical syn off
85fps-vertical syn on

when start cs 1.6, monitor freq will lock to 60 hertz and if you turn vertical syn on, your fps will be 60. When off, it'll probably be around 75fps.
go find the software called Refresh Force to lock the freq to 85hertz and it'll raise up the FPS

1.6 - 99.9fps (constant)

CSS - 70fps maximum (usually hangs at around 40-50fps)
I have an Athlon XP 3000, 512MB RAM and Radeon 9600 Pro (256MB).

CS1.6 = 99 constant with developer 0 on. Rises lots with developer 1 enabled...

CSS: max settings @ 1280x1024 around 60-70, but can drop to 40 at times. Dont know how many fps i get on low setting because i never play on low settings

So basically to get my FPS up to 99, you have to turn veritcal syn off? Can you download Refresh Force from download.com?

if u turn vsync off, u might get all sorts of nasty stuff on the scree

Google the word RefreshForce and it should be the first one.

For CSS, Max setting@1280X1024, fps is around 60.
btw, what's your graphic card?

hmmmm..average on source, im running 45-75 fps. dont rememerb my settings......but im running a eVGA 6600gt.
