Just want to give you guys some info on this new game called Savage 2 - Tortured Soul.
From an independent studio, S2 Games.
Very interesting concept and fun team based game play.
It is a MMO FPS RTS RPG....
If you've never played or heard of Savage series, think as it's a typical RTS game with a map to explore,
resources to collect, and you built stuff to get better weapons, etc, etc.
But all the units, soldiers, builders are not created by you, they are all real human players.
You start out with a given map to battle on.
2 races (human and beasts) with 7 classes each to choose from.
Also there is a commander on each side of the team who plays as a typical "bird-view" RTS style.
(can build structures and has special abilities like heal/revive a person. also gives orders to squad/units.)
The main goal is to destroy the opponents HQ/Base.
In order to achieve victory, your race is required to gather as much (but limited) resources as possible.
and built powerful upgrades while preventing the opponent from doing the same.
Very team oriented game play and lords of action with solid strategy game packed in one.
It needs a bit of getting used to, such as each classes have many unique skills they can use.
Overall, solid game play with interesting concept and the most importantly, fun game.
