san andreas axis mapping

I cant seem to map any of my x axis joysticks on my 360 controller in gta san andreas on the pc. Is it just that they didnt do much for supporting controllers? Or is there a way to fix it somehow.

I think there is a patch or something that you download to get it. Not sure though.

Doesn't matter shooting wit the mouse on sanan is better that the 360 controller. But if your crazy im sure theres something on the net to help you.

in san andreas I just prefer the controller over the mouse.
