It seems that new GameSpy settings following the recent hardware upgrades are affecting client computer systems by not allowing them to connect or, once connected, causing the player's GameSpy instance to force them out of the game and back to the pre-login screen. This is affecting all of the thousands of Crysis Wars Clients playing on dedicated game servers daily.

The disconnects are diagnostically relevant for determining where the problem is. If a player were to simply disconnect due to a server issue (i.e. kicked) or some client-side issue (i.e. timeout) the player would be deposited back to the list of game servers shown post-login. However, this problem disconnects the user and deposits him on the pre-login screen for Multiplayer gaming. It is as though Gamespy is losing track that the player is already logged in.

GameSpy, the organization that hosts and maintains the servers for accessing the independent dedicated game servers, has not posted any messages that would indicate they recognize that the problem exists. However the distributor of Crysis Wars, Electronic Arts, recognizes that a problem exists and have indicated that "developers and engineers" are working to solve the problem. No estimated time for resolution has been stated.

Further, EA indicated that they would be posting to this forum when a solution is found.
