Recording video with xfire

When I try it cod4 works, but cod5 crashes. ????

Fraps is good. Not free though (well there is a free version but it has a watermark).

Fraps is video recording, not video editing.

Most people just use Windows Movie Maker to edit their videos.

Once you get into the Pay ones, Windows Movie Maker feels like crap.. (In my opinion anyways(

I also have sony vegas, but I don't like it that much.

It's not the uber leet professional video editing software out there, but it does the job well and runs extremely well on my PC.

Just figured I should clarify on that point .

How come the video is all choppy? Are xfire videos always like that? I thought it was because I had it set to 30 fps, so I bumped it to 60, but the videos look like the same crap. I did this in waw btw. I haven't tried a different game. Maybe I should. Could I need a windows media player update?

Why would WMP matter for recording XFire vids?

Do you have enough free resources for it to record as you play?
