I think mario kart died after the snes version, although the n64 version wasnt to unlike the snes version, but any other version is too far away from being anything like mario kart should be, im not saying it wont be a good game just for me the real mario kart is on the snes!

NFS:Carbon is a tight game, just loaded it up a couple of days ago, and it r0x.
Yeah, it's like most wanted, but has car classes, and racing styles incorporated.
It's not just build a car, beat the guy... liking it more and more every time I play. ---my 2 cents...

Arcade racing can be fun, but I get my true kicks from simulators. Here are some of my fav racing games:

-Richard Burns Rally
-Rally Trophy
-Grand Prix Legends
-GP4 (3 was ok also)
-Live for Speed
-Mafia
-Carmageddons
-Flatouts
-NFS series
-Colin McRaes

naturally i'm using a FF wheel and pedals. gotta get me that GTR2 as asap

then there are some motorbike games, but I haven't found a really good one yet. except Elasto Mania, of course, lol.
