Problems trying to play Day of defeat on a new computer

Hello all,

Im new to all of this (forums etc) and could do with some help please.

I've recently purchased a new computer, its a Intel P4 3Ghz, 2Mb cache. Intel P4 775 Motherboard with 1GB DDR2 memory and 160GB Hard disk drive.


I've been playing Day of defeat on an older computer and it's been working fine but since i installed it on my new computer is doesn't work at all and keeps freezing when i get to play the game. I have had vairous error messages suggesting memory problems.

Can anyone help please.

I only purchased the computer about a week ago and spent £100.

This is not a new computer, I just hope that it is actually better spec than your old one.
What GPU has it got? Were the messages about a shortage of virtual memory?

His old one was probably better. That hardware is from the stoneage.
