I am trying to figure out how to mount BF2 disc 1 as an image so that I don't have to constantly keep the disc in my drive.

So far, I have only run across two solutions:

Install Alcohol 120% using Expert Installer mode and change the names of the drivers.

or

Mount a mini-image of the game using Daemon Tools.

Any comments about these solutions as well as alternatives would be appreciated. Thanks.

Let me know...
I have tried to use the NO-CD crack and that didn't work.
If you make an ISO of the first disk ( which i don't have the patience for ) im sure you can mount it in Daemon tools.
Try that and let me know if that works.

Fixed It

I ended up using the Daemon Tools/ Mini-Image route. I downloaded the image from here:

[SNIPPED]

It's a WinRAR file. Just open it up until you see the .mds file. Paste it onto your desktop and select it using Daemon Tools. Works like a charm.
