problem installing ut2004

okay, guys. i bought the dvd version a couple days ago, knowing my pc would rip it up performance wise. I began installing it and when it got about half way through, I would get a message saying "Delayed Write Failed" with the file I was missing. I ignored it to find many other of these messages on multiple files in the game.

What the heck?

Okay, try this.

Take an image of that DVD using nero or alcohol120%. Now use virtual cd or alchol120% to create a virtual drive and mount that image. try to install the game from the virtual cd..
