at college, one of my friends brought in a portable version of Doom 2 on his memory stick, and everyone put it on their computer, and we were having a 4 player deathmatch of doom, which was fun. Doom 2 is good, but its old, and the deathmatch isnt that great. its basically 4 players dumped into the storyline who are able to kill each other. my other friend suggested we find a portable version of quake, or some other good FPS which we can play off our memory sticks and have lan deathmatches. does anyone know where i can get a portable version of quake, or how i can go about transforming an install of quake into a portable version? any FPS which is better which has very low specs would also be welcome.
