mechwarrior or flight sims and thats it, anythng else i've come across sticks just make hard work.

Mech4 mercenaries is great fun with twin sticks, you can download a ton of authentic extra mechs too

You want to use a joystick for a first person shooter?

Hmm I recall playing Dark Forces with joystick back in the mid 90's

I remember a lot of DOOM fan boys crying about how they hated the Dark Troopers how they could fly around, and the whole look up down thing was new to them.

Give me a break! I was playing that sort of style FPS on the Mac with the orginal Marathon while every one was still playing DOOM.

Just for the sh!ts'n'giggles value of it, I have tried playing Mortal Combat 3 with a early Thrustmaster Joystick once.

10 minutes later, we got bored and moved back to using a joypad instead.
