i have a pentium 3 1.2ghz prossesor with 256 mb of ram now i know that that was top of the line one day and was wandering what are some good games that i can play (with out slowing down like molasses) on my comp.

Warcraft 3 is fun i used to be hooked on that games i ran it on my old hp with a 500mhz celeron, 384mb ram, and a 4mb integrated vid card so your comp should handle it easy.

Also Diablo was fun, and I think Half Life 1 shold run on you pc. Those are some old games that i liked to play.

Half Life 1, and Age of Empires 2. Quake 3 Arena will run on that i think.

warcraft 3 MIGHT be cutting it close, that game ran on my old 1ghz machine but very terribly with everything on low. Diablo 2 will run on that rig fine though, you should give that a shot.

warcraft 3 ran on my old comp with an AMD 1Ghz processor 1 gig of RAM and a geforce 2 . Think your ram will be cutting it close might need more.

Battlefield was alot of fun i thought
I think you could run Mech Commander 2 fine also

lots of good games you could play:

fallout 1 and 2
baldurs gate 1 and 2
soldier of fortune
commandos 1 and 2
icewind dale 1 and 2
and maybe not sure freedom force
the old command and conquer games up to tiberian sun or red alert 2

ok sweet now ive got another question what games are good to play on a 56kbps modem internet line.

Diablo 2 maybe, no games now a days run well on 56k, mayb Warcraft 3 if you can stand the lag.
