Old games: Theme Hospital

So my friends and I have been going through a bunch of our favourite games from the 90s, and the ones we never got aound to trying...
Currently trying to use Theme Hospital in W7 64-bit, but it complains that Theme Hospital is 16-bit and cannot be run.
I'm guessing there's no way around this other than running it in XP (32-bit)?

Also side question can you run a 32-bit OS as a VM in a 64-bit OS? I'm fairly sure you can but just confirming before I do so.

Oh the days of Theme Hospital, that was a pretty good game

I'm surprised it won't run though. Tried running it in compatibility mode and all that crap ?

And yeh, pretty sure you can run 32bit os through VM.

Wasn't Theme Hospital DOS based? In that case, you could try DOSbox.

Possibly originally, but it works fine in 32-bit XP.
