Oblivion on my new rig

Would you think I could run oblivion at max settings (w/ 1280 x 1024 res) with a 8800GTS and a C2D E6300? Would overclocking the processor help a lot?

for the price of that card not only should it run every game at full settings but get you a drink when your thirsty as well.

You are only gonna struggle playing Rainbow Six: Vegas.
none of the other games would lag with your set up.

I'm running an e6600 and 8800GTS both stock speeds. Oblivion plays just fine on max settings and 1680x1050 res.

Yea, with that 8800GTS you can play virtually anything. For now at least.

I'm Content with how oblivion plays on my computer... i can only imagine how it runs on a newer system. Im waiting for the cheaper G80 series to come out before i upgrade.
