No COD 3 for PC?!

I just read that there are no plans for Call of Duty 3 for the PC. WTF?

Anyone else disappointed by this? I was looking forward to it.

It says here in wikipedia that Activision doesn't plan to release a version for the PC or GameCube

I read something like that too. It doesn't make much sense, xbox 360/ps3 hardware is similar to a modern computer's, it couldn't possibly be that hard to at least port it over...
