nfs most wanted too fast?

Hi. I've recently build a new rig , amd 3800 x2 , x800xl ati vc, and install and downloaded the no cd patch for it but after one hour or so of game play everything start going too fast. What it could be the problem? I already check my mobo settings and vc settings and everyything is ok. I have the game in my wife computer (the one on the sig) and it works ok but with the patch 1.2 on, and now I have 1.3. Could this be the problem. Thanks.

you've got a dual core. You need the AMD dual core patch.
