Just put this rig together for a friend and i have an idea what the problem is...but asking to make sure. I havent really played this game much so not sure how to really troubleshoot it.
Rig consists of
Athlon 64 3000+
DFI LP nF3 250gb
1.5GB DDR
3850 AGP
+/- SB Live! 5.1
Basically when you load the game everything seems ok. I can have settings at low or high and graphically its ok. When i bring the gun out and fire nothing happens sound wise, when i hit escape all the sound effects come through. This happens at low or high graphics settings. Ive tried onboard, an Audigy 2, and the Live and it happens with all sound cards. Any ideas?
