It won't install; I haven't got DirectX 9.0c so I download it, install it, and it still says I don't have it. Re-installed 4 times; still doesn't work...

BTW; I bought it in the US in eng. and live in europe on a french XP, shouldn't change anything, right?

Judging by how BF2 doesn't seem to work on your computer either, I'd say you could use a fresh Windows install.

Too lazy; not an option. I would have to backup many many things; takes too long. Other solution?

And BF2 isn't the same problem as NFSMW!!
