Need help running minecraft please help

Had this same problem when I tried to run Minecraft on an older machine. Short answer is you need to upgrade your video card. You can try updating drivers and the such but it probably won't do the trick. Besides, even if you did manage to make it work I'm sure the amount of lag would make it unplayable with those specs. Don't be fooled by the game's oldschool look, it's more demanding on your system than you would think.

Yeah his card does support OpenGL. The P4 series doesn't have the nessary requirements for something like that.
