Need crysis to play warhead story wise?

Ok confusing title i guess, basically i don't usually buy shooters for the PC but i think i might get Crysis, well Crysis warhead since apparently it looks better and runs a bit better.

However will i be totally confused without playing Crysis first? Does the story carry on from the first?

no, it takes place in psycho's point of view of the first one... so i guess it would still make sense...

buy them used...i'm sure you can find a shop/person online willing to sell them for like $10-15 each game
