Is my system good enough to play DOOM III ALPHA or retail DOOM 3?

Hi, I need your help. I seriously would love to know if my rig can handle DOOM 3. Now before i ask i want to say that Im not a very power hungry player and I don't need 1600X1200 resolution with 6X AA and 16 AF. The only settings I'd love to have in DOOM 3 is *800X600* rez with high texture and bump mapping quality with 2X AA and 8X AF! Thats all. Ya think this should run the game perfectly?

My high end rig:

Windows xp pro
Mainboard-ECS L7VMM 4X AGP
CPU-AMD 2100+
RAM-512 MB DDR PC 2100+
Power supply-300W
*Graphics card*-eVGA Geforce FX 5900 (non ultra) 400/805 mhz maybe I will overclock it to 496/960 mhz.

I also have new Detonator 52.16 drivers!

you'll definitely be able to play doom3 w/your pc as the min. sys req. are:
1000mhz
256mb/ram
geforce 1/radeon 7xxx acc. card

however it runs real choppy at times on a 2.4ghz so..

The question to you is - Do you want to be able to merely play it or do you want to be able to appreciate it in all of its glory? I imagine that you'll be able to run the game adequately but you'll have to turn off many of the graphics goodies that promise to make the game so appealing.
