My DVD drive isn't working

Hi
My DVD drive '_NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A' is not reading any DVD-ROMs it used so now I cant play any great games like the movies and battlefield 2
Please help any one!!!!!!

you could try putting one of those dvd cleaner things in there. I dont know if it would work on a pc drive or not, then you might get it woorking if you unplug everything from it and plug it back in. It probably wont do anything but it is worth a shot. And if all else fails you will just have to spend $35 to get a new onr.

If it is an IDE drive, try a new IDE cable.....I had one go bad once.
