Microphone issue

I was just wondering if it was possible to hook a single microphone upto 2 devices. (PS4 and PC) I have 2 cords one for each but it is hard that way. Would it be possible to use 1 cord to a USB switch and then 2 cords from the switch into the ps4 and PC?

I think I looked into this a while back and the short answer was no.
