A mech sim like Steel Batallion would be pretty cool, I wanted to play it for the xbox but I couldn't afford to pay the $199 for it.

I wish someone would make a mech sim for the PC that has it's on controller the way SB did. At a time I was looking for team members to help me make a mech sim mod for the PC but sadly I couldn't get more than a few people interested.

The whole genre of Mech sims is pretty dead now, ever since Mechwarrior 5 was cancelled. **** Micro$haft...

Eh, I never liked mechwarrior that much. It would be fun to play a new mech sim, one where the mech doesn't move like a half dead turtle.

Cause Harper was talking about Freespace and thats a space flying game where as what i think your talking about it Mechs like huge walking battle tanks right?

FREESPACE or FREESPACE 2 did have a Robotech Mod where you can fly around in jets that can transform into mecha. Whether or not this 3rd party mod is still avalable online or not is another story.

Robotech and BattleTech can be easly confused with each other as FASA (BattleTech) did rip off some of the mecha designs from Robotech.

I think that also the reason why they change the name over to MechWarrior just to help put the 2 products appart from each other.
