seeing as there has only been two nukes deployed against foes in the world and both were in WWII (unnecessary might i add),

It was either that or send 1000's into Japan by sea assault and watch them get slaughtered. The Japanese just refused to give up the fight.

You still here about dudes that were so indoctrinated that they get found hiding out waiting after all this time. The culture at the time was not one of surrender. I've thought about it alot and yes it was bad but in the long run it did probably save lives and money.

Ya, I have seen documentary about them trying to get them to surrender in the 80's!!

I can't imagine living in the the jungle for over 40 years still believing that the war was continuing.
