Left 4 Dead 2 and Dual Screens

Does anyone else have any problem playing videoes via VLC and/or Youtube on the second monitor while playing Left 4 Dead 2 in the main?

Whenever I attempt this the VLC/Youtube Video stops but the audio keeps playing.
This is the only game I play that this is the case and have tried fiddling with the Left 4 Dead 2 Video settings to no avail...

Anyone have any ideas?

more than likely your hardware cant handle running both at once. you probably need a better video card.

Hmm, I have a GTX 470.

also it depends on the game i have a 6870 i get great fps in games but if the games graphically heavy and i try to play a video on the other screen it lags the video and my game lags to even if i just have a you tube video open it lags so i use my xbox or my other computer to play videos on my 4th monitor

You have to put the game in Windowed (Full Screen) mode.
I forgot exactly what the setting is called.. It's similar to that, though.
