If the refresh rate would be 60Hz, the fps would be limited to 60fps, wouldn't it? At least the fps you can see, not the ones the graphics card can render.

Is the PCI-e version of the 6800GT really that much better then an AGP version (if there is one). Will I notice any difference? I really dont want to have to overhaul my entire system (which in effect would be replacing every component I have) so I can get a new video card.

I don't think there is much of a difference in performance but yea there are AGP 6800GT.

Newegg but they are sold out on Newegg. AGP is dieing out and PCI-e is taking over.

If you dont want to buy a new mboard then get an agp card.
