i'm going to a small LAN party at a friends house (small being 4 of us) and want to know what the best LAN games are

I know a friend of mine that will play Total Annihilation at his LANs. Its an awesome game by itself.

a LAN game is where a group of people get their computer and play a game ni the same server while using the same network

In this case a lan party is the four of them hooking up to a router and playing ffa or 2 v 2 games over the network or l.a.n(local area network).

To answer your question, ive always found RTS games to be the best for lan parties. But CS:S is my favorite game so forget everything else.
