lan card help

hi

wat i have is a lan between two computers, and im wanting to add another computer to the second computer , i have a lan card in the new pc but im wondering how can i put two lan cards in one pc with out them geting mixed up (im on win 98)

yea t ahow much do they usually cost and plus i want them to be linked up all at the same time..

im not sure how much it would cost there...i haven't ventured into networking yet. but they'll link up once configured correctly.

youll need a switch (hub, router, whatever) and they are only about $30 USD, then youll need 3 network cables (you wont be able to use the one you have connecting 2 pcs as it is a crossover cable and cant be used between a router/hub/switch and a computer) and maybe a 4th if you are sharing a high-speed connection
