I've got command and conquer red alert and i'd really like to install it on my new computer which has windows xp. When installing I get the error message "Windows 5.1 is currently running. This version of Red Alert if a windows 95 only product"

I was wondering if there is anyway to tweak it so I can get my game running.

On my XP Red Alert1 does run very well...
With Command & Conquer I had to edit the conquer.ini file to match my soundcard. btw the compatibility wizard does not work with me, I tried to run Warzone2100 on XP with compatibility wizard, but it doesn't run, so I don't think it will help for C&C either. You better install Windows98 and make a dual boot

Well I used the compatibility wizard and it installed, but it doesn't run....I guess thats a step in the right direction.

When running it I get the error message "The procedure entry point SMapLS_IP_EBP_12 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNAL32.dll"

Can anyone make any sense of this message, maybe I can edit the conquer.ini file???
