Installation problem with Gothic 4

Anyone have any ideas on why the installer would stop responding when it went to install the speech pack?

Are you installing from a disk or a download? It could be a scratched disc or a corrupt file. Overclocking will cause problems sometimes, try lowering your ram speed to 1333 MHz and see if it installs, you can raise it back again afterwards. It could be a problem with your security software or maybe even your firewall.

Go to the games official website forums and see if anyone else has had the problem, if they have then maybe they will have an answer

Yeah, I posted on their site simultaneously with this, and, and they were just like, yeah, people are having problems with the installer, let it sit there for awhile. That did it lol. Problem solved. No wonder this game hasn't been getting the best ratings.
