If you had up to $1500 on new PC

I have been lurking on this forum for a while and am impressed with the knowledge of the participants. I am in desperate need of a new computer and would like some advise. Where and what would you buy if you had up to $1500 to spend on a new PC, which would easily play the current and near future games. I use a computer for email/internet (music, movies)/word/digital camera. I have a digital camera, speakers, wireless mouse, and printer. I would like a minimum 17" monitor. Online or instore and shipping is not critical. Would you piece together a PC, or suggest an outlet like Cyberpower, etc? Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds good just make sure the cpu has the Winchester core.
