What do u think is the ideal bandwith need for online gaming ...

What do u think is just enough ... n' what's more than required ..

id say cable is perfect, but it also depends on what type of gaming, first person shooters will obviously require more bandwidth than real time strategies

how fast (what speed) is yours? my cable connects at about 4MBPS so, it does all i want it to, lol

Right now i have a 1mbps dsl ... i was thinkin' of upgrading it ..that's y i started this poll....

Though i don't really have any probs with my current connection

I use a 576 down/288 up ADSL, and rarely have a problem.

With my 45.5 mb T3 Trunkline, I can play fps multiplayer, and get a ping as low as 3. On the same server with lots of people with dial-up, I can get a ping as high as 200. It just depends on the quality on the server and the number of people with slow connections.
