I can't find my Key!!

I'm about to reformat my computer so I can give my HD to my friend and I'm gonna take hers because her computer can recongize mine but not her own.

However, I have a legit copy of BF1942 on it. I dont have the key anymore, I got a free copy of it when I RMAed my GeForce 6800GT because it blew up while on the phone iwth the tech, and I got it as a "We're Sorry" I guess. It did come with a key but I've lost it. Once I reformat, I wont be able to install it again. Is there a way to EXTRACT the key from your own computer?

Won't give you a link to a key gen b/c thats not very legal. But google might know where to find one.

I believe the key is located here, in your registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\ergc

Hey thanks a bunch. I found a set of numbers, I'm not sure its the key, but I found out that I wont need to format my HD and give it to a friend. I figured out why her HD wasn't working. Thanks anyway!
