HL2 Saves

Hmm so I formatted my PC becuase I wanted to partition it so everything wasn't on C and slowing down my OS as much. I am annoyed becuase I lost my HL2 game save and it's the kinda game you don't want to go through again I was wondering if anyone could send me their save, I got to the chapter called Anti Citizen.

I have no idea where to put them , I've looked on google but theres nothing I can find of any help.

Put them in;
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\(your user name)\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE

I've put them in there but when I click load on the HL2 menu nothing shows up.
