hey dudes

i got a prob. i cant play a game called industry giant 2 on my new pc coz apperently "your graphics card is incompatible with industry giant 2 please upgrade". now with this game i kinda scratched my head coz i got a 8800gts and this is like 2002 game. im running vista and yea i set it to run in compatiblity mode for windows 98 and all other windows but still no jive! anyone got a solution to this prob?

I assume you're on vista?

I'd try to run a Virtual Machine with XP.

It will be slower but if its an older game it should be fine.

I think its odd that a native windows game has problems in windows, but its one of the games that's been approved to work at least pretty well with WINE.

Seems a lot of games take issue with the 8800.

This game seems to have an issue with alot of newer nvidia cards according to their forum.

i downloaded that nvidia mod, and the game is working now

but now during gameplay the game will C2D after a random time of between 5min -10min. what gives?
