help with far cry

just installed my 6600 gt tonight.

far cry looks awsome, but my shadows are too dark and my lights are to light & bright, so I gotta tinker with that.

It will not let me enable rendering mode as anything other than default. How can I get the rendering mode on?

your special effects qualities need to be on at least High. you have a 6600GT now, so unless you got a sub 1.6 Ghz processor and no ram, than you'll be able to play maxed out (w/o AA and about 8xAF).

same problem here with 6600gt, you need a patch, get it off the website cuz nvidia has problems with farcry render but it was fixed with the patch...
