ah i think thats ur problem, find out the minimum power reqs for the dual core nvidia 6600 card i think its overed. not sure, just check, if so get a new PSU

No way, the minimum rating for my 6800gs is 300 watts. A 6600 should be fine on 400 watts, when you say freezing does it completely lockup or can you ctlr-alt-del it? If it just completely locks up then it could be a hardware issue, play another computer taxing game and see if it crashes. Also check the temps on your graphics card when you play games.

yeah, 300 is fine for one 6800gs, but he has got dual gpus. also, assuming he has it oc. if not i would still reccomend going for a higher psu
Also check to make sure you have the latest drivers.

ok ive played world of warcraft since it came out on my machine and its been fine. When BF2 freezes it locks the whole computer after about 5 seconds. I hae to do a hard restart.....
