Halo problem PLEASE HELP

I got back from a vacation for a week and got bored so I tried to play Halo. When I was about to get to the main menu of the game an error message appears: "Your computers video drivers are having serious issues with the game please visit your system manufacturer....blah blah blah..."
Could someone please help here!

No, Halo's software developer doesn't have anything to do with it.

Which Halo are you playing?

What video card are you using?

have you updated the video card driver?

Do you have the latest DirectX or OpenGL version installed?

I would check those first and see what happens.
