Halo Fatal error warning

i just installed Halo and it comes up with an error warning saying.

"problem occured initializing Direct 3D. hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAg."

i have run it and it says everything is enabled. all my other games work its just this oneany thought?

Edit : i have also taken of all my ati drivers then reinstalled with the latest and still nuthing.

Ok do you have the lastest version of DX9? I mean DX 9.0c.

It doesn't have to do with specs, what video card are you using? My old 9550 owns in that game so it can't be like a super-intensive game.

i have the same problem and my pcs power is like a monster, ok not really but i cant find out what it is also (im useing the trial version)
