Half-Life 2 Cinamatic Mod

I have just downloaded and installed this cinamatic mod for half-life 2.

The download was a whopping 3 GB!

But, WELL worth it.

If you have not tried it I highly suggest it.

Now my wife is going to enjoy half-life 2 more than i did when I played it....lol.

I played it, looks nice, but I think it sucks IMO. I mean sometimes, having lower graphics is better than 5 hour load times.

I can see that it's supposed to be showy, hence "Cinamatic", but it is like an incredibly detailed and awesome movie, but it has to load every single scene. A part of a movie, that makes it a movie, is how it flows, you can't break up an action themed movie/games into massive load times.

I thought it might be my memory (1GB system and 256MB video), but even my friend's computer takes forever (512MB 7900 GTX, 2GB RAM).

Get it here. Make sure you shut down steam before you install the mod.

The system requirements are pretty steep.....they read 512mb of video ram,,,,,2gb system ram,,,,and dual core cpu.

But....if your pc can handle it at a high resolution then it looks fantastic.....suppose to work best at 1280 X 1024 or 1600 x 1200
