Guild Wars Connecting stays at 0% since going wireless

I am currently at a hotel and whenever i try to connect to Guild Wars i get "ArenaNet Connecting 0%" and it just stays like that forever. I am using a wireless pc adapter to pick up a complimentary WiFi connection. It has worked fine before but sometimes my connection just goes off mid-game and then when i restart i get the "ArenaNet Connecting 0%" message again. Other online games connect just fine for me (Battlefield 2 for example) but Guild Wars just doesn't seem to want to accept my wireless connection at times. I Have tried turning off my firewall and spyware completly as suggested by others before but this hasn't changed anything. The connection seems to be very fast so i figure it has something to do with the ip address itself but the adapter i use just has a basic client manager that finds connections and allows me to connect or reconnect. (No options tab to change connection settings) If any may have some solution to this or needs more info on this just let me know. Thanks.
