ive tried lowering res to 1080 still the same its like its in slow mo/lag also ive tried updating my drivers to different ones links below

basically i think the game sucks big time and my system isnt that outdated my rig runs COD WOW on max res perfect

is your cpu running @ stock speeds (2.2GHz)

also, that ram is old
i dont recommend anything less than ddr2 800 (pc2 6400)

its not the game running slow, yours your pc running it slow.

some of the guys in there have a much better system than you do, and they say they cant get the game to run as smooth as they want.

i believe this game uses all the cores you give it.
and you (and myself) only have 2 cores, this game would love a quad core.
+ amd's dual cores are not as good as intel's latest dual cores..

call of duty is not gta4

you cant compair one game vs another game like that even if they are both new.

call of duty has a different game engine than gta4.

you are driving a ford escort and trying to keep a supermodel interested in you.
nothing wrong with the escort, but the supermodel likes exotics
that is my comparision of your cpu vs the game.

COD uses the GPU and you have a 1 GIG card in yours, GTA uses more of the CPU than any game I have ever seen, COD does not use much of the cpu so your video card is running it but a older CPU and RAM will kill GTA4. Mine runs it on lower res pretty smooth but the CPU is running at 98% a good amount of the time when playing. Basically your CPU and RAM are the bottleneck.

World at War is dependant on the graphics card. GTA IV is going to stress every part of your system, and in your case, your RAM and CPU can't keep up.
