GTA san andreas sound issue

I recently got GTA: S A for the PC. After a while, the sound craps out. Does anyone know if there is a patch out tehre or somthing? plz send me a link, thanks!


P.S. i have a KN8 SLI mobo with built in audio.

Go to control panel, sound and audio devices, speaker setting, click advance then click quadraphonic speakers.

Rundat is exactly right. I had this problem a very long time ago as well...so long ago I thought (and hoped) I would never hear of it again...but here it is...back to haunt me...
