Is this good enough to run Farcry

Will you be able to run FarCry? Yes. Wil you be able to run it with the most eye candy, the answer is definately no. Update your graphics card to at least the 9800 Pro. Really, you will want to get the X800 Pro or X800 XT. When I play FarCry on my X800 Pro with 8X AA plus 16X AF, I get as low as 29FPS at the most intense times. Most of the time, I run at about 50FPS in FarCry, though.

Don't listen to the guy above me. I have an AMD Athlon XP 2800+ and 128mb 9600xt and the game runs fine on highest settings. I dont' know how many fps I get because I dont' know the command to display fps.

Something else must be slowing my FPS down, I don't know what though. Anyway, get a program called Fraps to display you FPS for 3D games.

i say ur specs look good enough to run AND play far cry.

but upgrade the graphics card anyway to at least a 9800pro its worth it for more reasons than just farcry and its only an extra $50
