getting an error in CS:S

I keep getting an error in CS:S, and i reeally want to play so it's making me mad, the pic i attached can anyone help me?

yeah ive gotten that with Steam before with CS CZ, i just did a reinstall and it worked.

when ever i try and join a game a box comes up showing the people ingame and other info about the server. but it wont let me join a server. i have to go threw like 15 different servers just to get into one.

Stop running the hack, then try it.

what hack, this isn't hacked and it happens at startup, and so far a reinstall hasn't helped

I got the same thing, I had reformatted and it fixed the problem...I don't know if there is an easier solution as I just happened to be needing a clean install at the time

Check the steam website FAQ's. I'm fairly certain they have something pertaining to this error. Hold on, I'll check.

I got that error with HL2 a while ago and loosening ram timings solved the problem.
