Gaming on wireless keyboard / mouse

I use a G7 mouse and a wireless logitech keyboard and I have not had a problem. Of course I am not to far away from the receiver either.

I have heard mixed reviews of gaming with wireless components, especially when it comes to blue tooth. Some say it's very is compatibly and have had no problems. Then others say there is an assortment of interference and the need for batteries or charging is annoying. I have never gamed with a wireless mouse or keyboard, and I don't intend to.
