games on vista

^i had 32 bit with all the latest drivers and
RC tycoon gold wouldnt ever load i got a windows error
Diablo 2 would blue screen
SOF would never load the installer

and Steam was also very buggy in vista

and this is a legal copy of vista we are talking about not a haced copy or anything, i go back to xp and all these games work just fine right off the bat

When was this? I'd say I first installed them around April, with all of Vista's latest updates. I'm not sure which RC version I have 'till I get home, but I'd think it'd be the same. Diablo II would blue-screen? Eh? It sounds like some graphic card driver problems to me.

Steam is buggy? Hmm, I might've had it crash once or twice (ever), but it works just fine...no issues, either.

Steam is perfectly fine, I have bought games with no problems and it loads at start up. I also use vista 64bit.

lets see its been about a month maybe less when i last tried vista

Hm, well, maybe you didn't have the updates...but a blue screen on D2, I doubt that's Vista's (direct) doing.

i play BF2 fine on vista

i updated everything i could, like i said some games did play just fine, those i mention tho didn't and i tried reinstalling and what not and to still no avail

I have problems running Duke Nukem 3D on Vista. I have it installed with the high resolution pack but the mouse only goes horizontally and not vertically!

Steam is perfectly fine.

I think steam is a piece of ****.
