Does any1 know of a list or if call of duty 2 will play on vista?

^not true there are alot of games out there that do not work on vista
older games are the worst for that

i have vista on some computers in my house as well and
diablo 2 does not work
roller coaster tycoon doesn't work
solider of fortune 2 doesn't work
and the games that do work don't run as well as in windows xp

that works, I installed c&c the first decade which is all of them lol and it works fine. Im not sure if c&c 3 works though.

Although take into account the reason some games don't work is because people don't realise you can do run as administrator, or change compatibility to windows xp sp2. Iv found that it can fix a number of game issues such as vampire the masquerade didn't work until i did that.

Absolute lies. Diablo II works without issue. RC Tycoon as well. I haven't tried SoF2, however...given the previous two.

As far as games running as well, I get equal or better performance on Vista.

This is all considering 32-bit. Now if you're talking 64-bit, there will be a lot more issues.

I've only run into a few troublesome games, one being Dungeon Keeper. I just VMware it back on XP to get around that. But yeah, like said above, most (nearly all) newer games work fine. Some may have a hicup or two, but that's why we have Google Groups, just search <game name> Vista <32/64> and you'll likely have an answer.
