There wassomething that somebody on this forum made up about the opening scene of Doom, it was hilarious. Went something like this:
Opening scene, General of marines in the Oval Office.
Prez: General, I want you to send a small squad of marines to this mars base.
General: yes sir. What are we looking for?
Prez: I cant tell you that. You'll have to rely on info picked up from the dead crew's PDAs. Also, i will only give your men small pistols and oversized flashlights. They should be able to find heavier weapons as they progress.
